Video Game Module - Craft Game
In a future timeline, robots have banded together and revolted against the humans. The player operates a superhuman who has a projectile weapon, with which to defend themself against endless waves of robots.
For the final practical of the Video Games module, we could make whatever game we wanted to make.
I was playing a lot of the Binding of Isaac during this period, and the aesthetic influence is quite obvious.
The crafting mechanic is inspired by the cooking mechanic in Stardew Valley, where foraged goods are dumped into a crockpot and occassionally results in something nourishing.
The haggling mechanic is inspired by Passpartout - I like a bit of risk and reward but the implementation is kinda dumb.
